 Vis Vitalis is a musician, writer, and film director. He is the author of 20 albums in different styles of music, MTV-hero (with the rap video "In the White Ghetto"), the author of trilogy "The Woman. Where her Button is", republished four times and translated into foreign languages. Music video maker (about 300 clips), screenwriter and director of 9 short films. The most nominated independent Russian director: in total, 137 awards and nominations at world film festivals, as well as the only Russian director included in the Longlist of the world's largest short film festival Tropfest (Australia). In 2022, he also shot a full-length (90 minutes) documentary about the revolutionary and scientist Nikolai Morozov (commissioned by Russian Federation Ministry of Culture). We define the genre of our film as a "mystical drama" - but overall it is an incredible mix of road movies, philosophical parables, Soviet cinema and Chekhov's traditions of the Russian spoken play. Our references include such movies as: Unfinished Piece for the Player Piano (Nikita Mikhalkov, 1976), The Sixth Sense (M. Night Shyamalan, 1999), Dead man (Jim Jarmusch, 1995), Days of Heaven (Terrence Malick, 1978)

Our movie is not quite ordinary in the way that modern viewers are used to. This is a kind of homage to classic Soviet cinema, European cinema of the seventies, a philosophical parable filled with metaphors and allegories, but at the same time this film is not art-house. Our characters are alive and real, watching their adventures is interesting, you will love them and you will be sorry to part with them. The film also raises many topics and questions that always touch people – generational conflict, ideological differences, the search for the meaning of life and the short duration of our existence - but despite all the clashes of views, the characters are still united by a common platform, because they are connected by a common history and a common land. We hope that we have managed to create a synthesis of such different genres as mystery drama, adventure road movie and "smart movie" - but it's up to you to judge. .
